Job Description
Account Manager - Food Plant Sanitation Sales & Service
- Service existing customers and develop new accounts
- Evaluate and train sanitation crews as needed
- Assess customer needs in order to select best product options
- Build strong business relationships with new and existing customers and establish buying cycles
- Increase product and brand awareness by representing organization in a professional manner
- Report sales activity, expense reports, and market trends
- Travel required (some overnight) to service accounts and seek new business
- Some night work will be required to meet with sanitation supervisors
- Work remote from a home office
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Chemistry, or Food Science preferred, but not required
- Must have sales experience and be familiar with food plant sanitation
- Strong computer skills
- Highly motivated with a strong sense of work ethic and drive to succeed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
- Strong ability to multi-task and highly organized
