The Architectural Project Manager is a full-time position reporting directly to the Design Director and will manage store design, collaborate on projects with Construction, Real Estate, and Marketing, delegate tasks, and check projects for quality and consistency, to ensure our Stores conform to the latest prototype.

Job Responsibilities:
- Review proposed sites and oversee the preparation of conceptual plans and elevations for presentation to the Real Estate Committee, internal and Landlord review
- Responsible for negotiating and contracting with all the necessary design consultants for the design of each Insomnia Cookies bakery.
- Oversee Design Consultants in the Preparation of contract documents, technical specifications, bid documents and technical reports.
- Coordinate with design consultants to ensure plans comply with layouts approved by the Design Review Committee.
- Review Architectural Plans and site survey as part of due diligence period for Real Estate transactions.
- Negotiate with regulatory agencies and governing authorities to progress development plans and requirements.
- Coordinate with Construction Managers during site development to address issues as needed to facilitate the construction of the project
- Implement sign code requirements into the facade design.
- Coordinate sign shop drawings with Sign Vendor, Architect and Landlord
- Oversee revisions, correspondence and approvals. Maintain project communication consistent with brand standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact for design.
- Provide reporting on the implementation of projects while in progress and upon completion.
- Manage Contracts and relationship with Architects
- Review and onboard new Architects when necessary
- Create Initial Floor plan layout for internal approval
- Red Line review Construction drawings for accuracy
- Ensure all designed work areas meet quality, safety and compliance standards.
- Support team to improve and evolve ways of working when necessary.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong planning background with a national retail chain or architectural firm responsible for the Architectural/Engineering process
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of architecture, design plans including details, materials and general construction.
- Able to manage multiple projects & consultants within the allocated approved budget from initial design to completion of construction to ensure project success.
- Highly knowledgeable with building codes and the Americans with Disabilities Act requirements.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ADOBE and AutoCAD.
- A collaborator and problem solver.
- Strict attention to detail and prioritization capabilities.
