The Architectural Designer I report to the Architectural Project Manager. The Architectural Designer I is responsible for helping the Architectural Designer II & Lead Architectural Designer in developing and maintaining projects and coordinating with consultants. Maintenance of active projects through picking up and issuing redlines is a job function of Architectural Designer I.

Responsibilities:

• Willing to be open-minded, problem-solving, exchange ideas, and work as part of a team towards solving issues at hand.
• Being at the inception of your professional career you should treat every situation as a learning opportunity.
• Collaborate in the creation of 2D & 3D Rendering of initial concept ideas.
• Collaborate in the creation of Trade Sets for Estimating Costs (For Construction cost & Sales Costs).
• Collaborate in the creation of an Architectural Permit Set including Ventilation Calculations & Drainage Calculations, Electrical Drawings, and Construction Details.
• Assist in the coordination with the Project Consultants.
• Assist in the Creation of Permit Sets Issues & County required documentation.
• Create required electronic submission documents for counties.
• Create and maintain Active Products Redlines.
• Review and Coordinate Structural, MEP, Civil and Interior Design Drawings.
• Interest of learning Construction Techniques and Methods.
• Knowledge of Architectural Design Techniques.
• Be prepared to assist the team in accomplishing all required tasks as they come up in our developing work environment.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Office) and SharePoint.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop is preferred.
• Adobe Acrobat Professional/Bluebeam is preferred.
• Google Sketch Up Pro/ VRAY/Lumion is preferred.
