Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented architect with expertise in writing specifications for federal projects. As an Architectural Specifications Leader, you will be responsible for developing and managing project specifications that adhere to federal regulations and standards. Your primary focus will be on utilizing industry-leading software tools such as SpecsIntact and MasterSpec to create comprehensive and accurate project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Specification Development:
Create detailed and precise project specifications for federal construction projects.
Ensure compliance with federal regulations, standards, and guidelines throughout the specification development process.
Software Utilization:
Proficiently use specialized software tools such as SpecsIntact and MasterSpec to streamline the specification writing process.
Stay current with updates and advancements in software tools to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with project architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for specification development.
Communicate effectively with project teams to address any specification-related concerns or revisions.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough reviews of specifications to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal requirements.
Implement quality assurance protocols to minimize errors and ensure the highest standards in specification documents.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Stay informed about changes in federal regulations, codes, and standards relevant to construction projects.
Integrate updated regulatory requirements into project specifications in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
Proven experience in writing specifications for federal construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of federal regulations and standards governing construction projects.
Proficiency in using SpecsIntact and MasterSpec software.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
