A/R Billing Coordinator

Sunbelt Fire, a leading distributor of apparatus and equipment to the fire industry in the southeast, is growing, and looking to add a full-time, dedicated Accounts Receivable and Billing Coordinator to our team in Fairhope, AL. This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable functions, billing processes, and reception duties. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service to both internal teams and customers.

This role requires an individual who loves both numbers and people, is reliable, and wants to serve our team and our customers with integrity, authenticity and hard work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and send invoices and statements to customers, verifying billing information accuracy, and process incoming payments
• Monitor accounts receivable aging, call on customers with late balances, investigate and resolve payment discrepancies or issues, collaborating with internal departments and customers
• Manage incoming calls, directing them to appropriate department or individual
• Greet and welcome visitors, customers and vendors courteously and professionally
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, provide general administrative support, and assist with periodic administrative projects

Core Competencies/Skills/Education:

• Passion about the mission of Sunbelt Fire, our core values, and serving those who save and protect lives
• Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing or related financial roles preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and accounting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred

Position Expectations:

Full-time. Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
