Apprenticeship Program

National landfill piping/underground utilities construction company is looking for construction laborers to join our Apprenticeship Program.

You will be working in a landfill environment in and around solid waste.

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for the program:

• Must be willing to enroll in our Apprenticeship Program and attend both online classes and in field job training. As you advance through the program, you will be required to pass multiple written tests that will be proctored by your instructor.

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Must be 18 years or older on or before your start date.

• You must have a current and valid driver’s license.

• 80% of this position will require travel within the 48 states contiguous states with no restrictions.

• Must be able to pass an observed, full panel drug screen.

• Pass a criminal background check.

• Must be able to carry and/or lift 50 lbs.

• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk for long periods of time.

• Must have reliable transportation.

Duties are as follows but could require other duties as assigned by supervisors:

• Assist with various tasks and projects as directed by supervisors and mentors.

• Learn and develop skills in a specific trade or profession through hands-on training.

• Follow instructions and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

Pay rate: $15 - $20 per hour. This is considered a full-time position.
