SalaryDuties include, but not limited to the following: Develop and consult with Apprenticeship and "On-The-Job" training programs. Provide guidance on compliance with state and federal apprenticeship laws and regulations, Conduct program reviews. Attend apprenticeship program meetings, public meetings, job fairs and outreach events as required.
Attend and advise at meetings and outreach events; work remotely at home; collaborate with staff statewide to complete work assignments. Occasional travel required that may include driving or flights. Flexible Schedule: May require early start and/or late night meetings, infrequent overnight stays.

Department Information
The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) was established in 1927. Its mission is to improve working conditions for California's wage earners and to advance opportunities for profitable employment in California. DIR administers and enforces laws governing wages, workplace safety and health, apprenticeship training programs, and medical care and other benefits for injured workers.
