Apprentice Maintenance Electrician

Work with our Maintenance electrician to help Install and repair electrical & mechanical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment. Do other jobs as required around the facility.

Required

• Attending or graduated from an electrical apprentice approved program
• Knowledge or willing to learn shop mechanics and mechanical and electrical operations of equipment within our facility
• Ability or willing to learn troubleshooting
• Good verbal and written communication
• Team player
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task daily
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Preferred:

• MSHA (Mine, Safety, Health Administration) Electrical Certification or willing to work towards obtaining certification
• Willing to learn and obtain certification for HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning)
