You will be working in the Regional Services & Solutions business within Siemens Smart Infrastructure - responsible for the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of advanced electronic systems.
You will oversee the security, fire safety, and energy management solutions that maintain business continuity, manage risk and achieve carbon reduction targets. This will be a 3-year Advanced Apprenticeship where you will be put onto the Level 3 Fire, Emergency, and Security Systems (FESS) Technician Apprenticeship Standard. The academic training will be provided by our training partner Banham Academy in London who will also be the apprenticeship provider - don't worry, this will all be sorted out for you.
Your learning will be supported throughout your programme by Siemens mentors and your Branch colleagues. What do I need to apply? You will have achieved at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Math's, English Language and Science.
A good level of computer literacy is desirable. A self-disciplined approach to your studies will be required as well as to your timekeeping and attendance in the workplace. The role of Service Engineer requires a balance of technical and personal skills and therefore you need to have a 'can do attitude'.
We can teach you the knowledge on your apprenticeship however it also means a lot to us for you to align to our culture and behaviors. A full UK driving licence would be advantageous. What is in it for me?
