Apprentice electricians work under the observation of a journeyman or master electrician, building basic skills and gaining additional tasks and responsibilities as they improve. This is an entry level position for someone looking to begin a career as an electrician. Electrical apprentices will learn the skills they need to become professional electricians.
Qualifications:
A valid driver's license or reliable transport.
A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.
Good technical skills and a willingness to follow instruction.
Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position.
Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools. Appropriate training is provided.
Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently, working in confined spaces with limited access, on ladders, in personnel lifts, and working in awkward body positions.
Responsibilities:
Learning from our electricians and completing all assigned duties.
Help them to diagnose, repair, assemble, and/or install various electrical components and systems.
Use a variety of tools and techniques to complete electrical tasks.
Traveling out to various public and private spaces to assist our electricians.
Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
