What does an Apprentice Appraiser at Hoffman Auto Group do?
Role Purpose
Leadership
Core Accountabilities
Learn to become a licensed appraiser and secure your appraiser license.
Become familiar with current estimating system and programs and perform Vehicle Physical Damage estimates as instructed or needed.
Learn to document daily in CC1 and Dealer Track.
Schedule appointments and transportation for customers with rental agency and/or Hoffman shuttle service.
Communicate effectively with customer/insurance company throughout the repair process. Notify customer if any delays.
Order parts and check in upon arrival. Follow up parts department orders to ensure parts availability. Keep track of returned parts, credits, etc.
Post parts & sublets to repair orders. Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid supplements.
Answer phone calls, set up appointments, and take messages as necessary.
Assist with quality checks of completed jobs.
Follow all policies and procedures as designated by the Hoffman Auto Group Privacy Act policy.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Competencies and Qualifications
High School Diploma
1-2 years’ experience in a customer service orientated environment preferred
Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to technology advancement
Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.
