We're currently looking for an Appointment Coordinator to work full-time, you will be responsible for duties related to patient visits in the areas of phones, appointment scheduling and front desk patient reception/registration..
Responsibilities include:
Answer incoming telephone calls in a pleasant manner
Prepare medical records accurately for upcoming appointments
Appointment scheduling and reschedules due to schedule changes
Ordering contact lenses
Greets & register patients
Answers basic billing and insurance questions
Collect/verify/maintain patient demographic and insurance information held in computer system
Post personal payments in computer
Balance cash drawer
Ability to cross-train and learn multiple areas of responsibility within the patient services role
Ability to respond to both external and internal customer's needs in a timely manner
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees
Other duties as assigned
Compensation dependent on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
