Job Description:
To be considered for Electronics Design Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
- 2 years of relevant design and development experience in an Engineering role preferred.
- Experience with high-speed digital and analog circuit designs relating to Internet of Things (IoT), Layer 2+ Ethernet switches, Ethernet PHYs, FPGAs, CPLDs, MCUs, DC/DC Power management, and Signal retimers and redrivers
- Experience with industry standard electronic protocols such as USB, CAN, RS422, RS485, SPI, I2C, and UART
- Proficiency in the use of Ecad Software. Preferably OrCAD Schematic Entry and Cadence Allegro PCB Layout
- Familiarity with basic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies, etc.
Day to day work/responsibilities:
- Working on Mil-Aero design
- Circuit Design, analogue designing, Digital designing, power supply, mixed signal design.
- Help design and develop power schematics
- PCB design
- Work/Build initial assembly
- Work with Technicians and Production Engineers on floor
- Traceability between Customer requirement and system requirements
- Developing test requirements
As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will:
- Electronics hardware circuit design consisting of analog design, digital design, mixed signal design (ADCs/DACs), and power supply design for MIL-AERO electronic products.
- Support a product's electrical design activity including technical project planning, proposals, cost estimates, schedules and technical interface meetings from requirements definition through development, qualification testing and low rate initial production (LRIP)
- Design hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Material
- Assemble, bring-up, and debug new electronic designs
- Ensure traceability between customer requirements and system requirements
- Develop engineering test requirements and unit/subsystem/system test plans.
Skills and Qualifications required:
- Bachelor's degree pref. in Electronics/Comp Science and Mathematics
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Exp with high-speed digital analogue
- IoT, Ethernet, FPGA, MCU, Signa retimers and redrivers
- Electronic protocols exp like USB, RS485, CAN etc
- Some exposure on eCAD
- Familiar with Lab Equipment
