Job Summary:
We are seeking an Applications Specialist to join our team! This is a remote position that will be a subject matter expert for the company's Operations team business systems. You will provide technical support to end-users by answering questions about software applications. You will also interact with various stakeholders on how to best utilize different applications for their location. This position interfaces with the Kamps software development team to document bugs and new feature requests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users by answering questions about software applications
- Identify and troubleshoot problems with software applications and computer systems
- Write simple SQL queries and reports
- Take ownership of technical incidents and coordinating resolution with the software development team when necessary
- Become the subject matter expert for the company's operations software
- Perform system demos for new features
- Document features and general best practices
- Work with various stakeholders to maximize system proficiency
- Collaborate with the business to implement new features

Qualifications/Skills:
- Previous experience in Information Systems, Supply Chain or Accounting
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Deadline and detail oriented
- Must be able to work remotely and travel occasionally
- Readiness to learn new technologies at a fast pace
- General technical knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies including Windows Servers and SQL databases
- Previous experience with manufacturing and production planning software
- Experience implementing new systems
- Travel is required – up to 30%
- Solid written and verbal communication skills are required; must have the interpersonal finesse to interact effectively within the organization and with external suppliers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
