The Internship program at ADI provides young professionals with the opportunity to gain professional experience within an innovative and global company. The High-Performance Power team is seeking a motivated and talented Applications Engineering Intern to provide support to our Multi-market and Industrial BU located at ADI's Chandler, AZ office.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Research on high-performance step-down DC-DC converters
  • Research on Ultra Low Noise linear regulators
  • Working on application circuits of DC-DC power supplies using ADI's proprietary power management IC products
  • Performing thorough new product evaluations
  • Supporting existing products for field applications engineer and customers

Minimum qualifications
  • MSEE or higher
  • Strong background in research, analysis, and innovation in power electronics
  • Strong hardware development skills with proficient hands-on experience for hardware debugging
  • Strong background of analog circuit, power electronics and power systems.
  • Strong analytic skills along with power system modeling and control loop design.
  • Enjoy analog circuit design and hardware work
  • Good technical writing and presentation skills
  • Must possess good communication skills and have ability to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred qualifications
  • IC applications experience a plus
  • Familiar with circuit design/simulation tools and lab equipment.
