- Assist in developing knowledge of the HR and Finance information systems and functional processes supported by the Applications Technical Services team.
- Support efforts in documenting, implementing, and testing system enhancements and workflows. Collaborate with college functional staff and system users to assist in gathering requirements for system-related projects.
- Work under the guidance of senior systems analysts and others in IT & Analytics to align proposed solutions with institutional standards for architecture and approach.
- Assist in maintaining HR and Finance information systems internal controls; help identify and resolve errors associated with transaction processing.
- Support functional users of the system in system-related training; suggest procedures to enhance system processes and workflows.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, testing, and implementation of various software systems and tools.
- Assist in researching and resolving Tier 1&2 system issues from the user community; help design solutions or reports for system-related issues.
- Support special projects, audits, and reports as needed. Contribute to IT & Analytics projects and initiatives, assisting with technical development of solutions and analysis of business processes.
- Use various report writer and data retrieval tools supported by the college to extract data; assist in designing reports; participate in the evaluation of new reporting tools.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; good organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; understanding of relational databases and SQL (structured query language); ability to handle multiple tasks and confidential information. Experience with Oracle and Finance and HR systems is preferred. Work Environment The work is mainly indoors in a safe, accessible environment. Hybrid options are available. Operates a personal computer and office equipment. May need to deliver or pickup materials from other campus locations and should be able to walk, drive, or arrange transportation.
