Job Description
This position helps to ensure that information systems support enterprise missions and objectives. It works closely with internal departments and administration to conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements. It ensures a high level of client satisfaction by monitoring and updating the delivery of ongoing information systems to the enterprise.
Essential Functions- Provide superior support to company employees in all encounters.
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language.
- Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
- Upgrade existing applications and services. This includes working with the business units to test applications when upgrades are needed. It is imperative to minimize risk to end user when changes are applied to applications through upgrades or configuration changes.
- Ability to develop procedures for software installations and upgrades. This applies to software residing on servers as well as the desktop applications.
- Responsible to be the business owner of some Technical Applications.
- Support and Implement Applications. This includes troubleshooting application errors and issues. Provide support to the end user for technical as well as functional requirements.
- Subject Matter Expert for assigned Applications.
- Develop plans to resource, design, develop, test, integrate, implement, and maintain proposed system software and hardware improvements and enhancements.
- Aid the business units in researching new applications and systems when requested.
- Work with Vendors of 3rd party systems when performing many technical duties.
- Problem solving responsibilities.
- Help Desk support responsibilities.
- On Call responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Level of Education
- Two-year technical degree or a four-year non-technical degree or work experience.
• Day travel required. Occasional overnight travel may be needed to attend conferences and training. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities- Excellent communication skills. This position must be able to interact with internal customers, vendors, and bank employees to diagnose problems and work through solutions.
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office software, PC’s and related peripheral equipment including printers
