Application Support Specialist

The Application Support Specialist at Lakeland Bank is responsible for hardware deployment and maintenance, including but not limited to; Laptops, Desktops, Mobile Devices, Docking Stations, Multifunction Printers\Scanners, and all corresponding related equipment.  Support is provided to Branch Staff, Onsite staff, and a Remote Workforce. Daily Tasks include; Imaging, deploying, troubleshooting of both onsite and the Remote hardware and software.  This position is an escalation point of troubleshooting for the Helpdesk. 

This is an onsite position located at our Milton Operations Center, in Oak Ridge, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

• This position is onsite as you will be hands on support for the department.
• Serve as the primary escalation point to the Help Desk.
• Support Windows Active Directory Domain to allow users across the organization the most efficient use of the Bank’s hardware and software resources.
• Understanding the Windows AD and User login scripts, drive mappings and security parameters.
• Work closely with service providers and management to develop and implement new products and services, as required.
• Provide on-going support and service for all network and PC users. Software support is limited to those applications designated by management as being the standard packages used by Lakeland Bancorp.
• Coordinate and participate in new installations pertaining to cable site surveys, workstation/server configurations and telco communications.
• Deploy equipment when necessary to varying (75+) work sites, Maintain hardware and software problems database log. Place and monitor service calls as necessary for hardware as well as telecommunications.
• Maximize the return on hardware and software investments through the effective use of shared printers, disk storage space, and other hardware and software applications.
• Assists with disaster recovery planning and the recovery of vital information.
• As needed, may be responsible for assisting management with the preparation of policy and procedure manuals.
• Setup and support of users’ workstations including but not limited to e-mail, office applications, as well as mainframe access software.
• Support Remote workforce by imaging, deploying, and maintaining remote hardware fleet.
• Remote deployment of software to both LAN based and remote workforce
• Required to assist Helpdesk call overflow when requested.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

• High school diploma
• 2 years of IT/Computer Science training and/or schooling.
  • Or 3 years related experience and/or training.
• Advanced troubleshooting techniques and incident response.
• Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and possess a clean driving record.
• An annual motor vehicle record check i required in order to operate company vehicles.
• Willing to use personal vehicle for work purposes and maintain the appropriate insurance coverage.
• Must be bondable.
