As a Supply ChainApplication Architect at Burlington, you will be responsible for managing the strategy, design, implementation, and improvement of Supply Chain Systems (SC). The Supply Chain Systems scope includes Manhattan WMOS, LMS, TMS, YMS (PINC) and MHE/WCS Applications.
Additionally, you will provide thought leadership on how IT can improve productivity and efficiency for Burlington Supply Chain team and you will need to be an innovative thinker who is able to envision how technology can be leveraged to solve complex business problems.
A Day In The Life:
- Develop, own and drive the Supply chain technology vision, strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Burlington to help scale Supply Chain technology solutions and enable simple and speedy delivery of BURLINGTON Strategic roadmap.
- Partner with business, IT, vendors, and consulting partners to design and own solution architecture for the Supply Chain Applications.
- Lead the build out and evolution of the SC Application Architecture, own solutions for overall Burlington SC landscape including Manhattan WMOS, LMS, TMS, and YMS (PINC) etc. and will have responsibility of providing solutions in the areas of WMS/MHE Integration, and host/ERP system integrations.
- Help hire, coach, mentor and retain the top Supply Chain technology talent.
- Design and lead data and analytics Architecture Review Board to provide guidance and governance of the Supply chain technology platform.
To Be Successful You Should Possess:
- 15+ years of overall experience in information technology including architecture, design, and development.
- Proven experience in planning, managing, delivering, implementing, supporting, training, administering, and/or monitoring WMS (Warehouse Management System) solutions in a complex business environment.
- Experience in implementing DC Automation solutions and integrating with MHE(WCS)/WES applications.
- The ability to present advanced technical ideas to a non-technical audience effectively and succinctly.
- The ability to matrix manages resources who have direct reporting relationships to another director/peer in the group for specific projects.
- Ability to work independently, as a member of a team, or as a team leader. Methodical, hands-on, detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
