Job Summary
The ID Psych/Mental Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will serve as a key member of the Bluegrass Care Clinic?s integrated behavioral health team. They will provide psychiatry and medication management services to patients of the clinic, including those living with HIV and/or enrolled in the Ryan White Program. The APP will perform screenings, assessments, diagnosis and treatment in the outpatient setting with patients experiencing behavioral health and substance use disorders.The APP will collaborate with the clinic?s mental health coordinator, medical providers, mental health therapists, medical case managers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to create treatment plans and address barriers to care.The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced-based practice and education and has a responsibility for ensuring an environment of safe quality care.
