Api/Web Developer

We specifically look for:

A hands-on problem solver with excellent software design and implementation skills using scalable REST web services in Scala/Java (7,8) using Akka/Play.

Solid experience with OO driven development and frameworks similar to Play

Solid experience working with HTML5, AJAX, CSS and front-end technologies

Experience as component owner making significant contributions to code, architecture, performance, robustness and reliability.

A self-starter who brings energy, passion and creativity to work every day.

What will help you qualify:

BA/BS in Computer Science, related degree, or strong comparable experience.

5+ years of professional software development experience.

Experience developing modern enterprise or REST applications using languages like Scala/Java/Python etc.

Knowledge of RDBMs like MySQL, data modeling, SQL tuning and optimization

Familiarity with NoSQL data stores like Accumulo, Solr, Redis or Memcache
