Capgemini is looking for a Apigee Architect to be based at our Reading, PA location. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and mentorship for on-premises and cloud-based customer implementations.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Apigee solutions that meet the customer's business and technical requirements.
  • Work with the customer's operations team to implement the infrastructure components of the Apigee platform.
  • Build and implement API functional and performance test plans.
  • Define, architect, and implement a target-state API toolset that will improve developer experience across the API lifecycle.
  • Handle administration, support, and development audit of existing environments.
  • Assess and optimize the performance and security of the API platform

Required Skills:

  • 4 years of proven experience in Apigee platform installation, configuration, and development
  • Demonstrated ability in API management, API strategy, and API modernization
  • Experience with containers and container management, such as Kubernetes
  • Experience with Drupal
  • Experience with DevOps/CI/CD tools and processes, such as Jenkins, Terraform, etc.
  • Experience with Enterprise Integration/Middleware solutions, such as MuleSoft, IBM, Oracle, etc.
  • Knowledge of web services, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.
  • Knowledge of security standards and protocols, such as OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
