Api Development - Intern

As an API Development Intern, you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the IT team and accounting professionals to identify opportunities for API integration within our new or existing systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs to facilitate data exchange between internal accounting software and third-part applications
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of APIs to ensure reliability and seamless integration.
• Document API specifications, usage guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures for internal reference.
• Provide technical support and assistance to team members during API implementation and integration phases

Requirements

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for API development, such as Python, JavaScript (Node.js), or Java.
• Familiarity with API protocols and technologies, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Basic understanding of database management systems and data exchange formats.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for writing clean, efficient code.
• Prior experience with API development or integration projects is a plus, but not required.
