We are looking for a Leasing Consultant for our apartment community in Farmington
- Assist in all aspects of leasing including showing apartments, qualifying prospects, accepting applications and obtaining relevant documents to process the applications.
- Maintain sales relationships with prospects and residents.
- Interact with residents and vendors.
- Foster a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents.
- Prepare correspondences.
- Complete tenant move-ins and move-outs in coordination with the community manager.
- Accept rent payments and issue receipts.
- Distribute notices and letters as needed.
- Prepare lease paperwork.
- Explain lease and all appropriate addenda to new residents.
- Inspect vacant apartments and community, work with maintenance staff and community manager to ensure the highest quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the community manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of relevant work experience including strong customer service skills, direct sales or leasing experience preferred.
- Computer and internet skills including all MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
- Rent Manager experience preferred.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
