Duties
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in touring available properties
- Provide information about rental units, including pricing, amenities, and lease terms
- Conduct background and credit checks on potential tenants
- Prepare and process lease agreements and related documents
- Collect rental payments and deposits from tenants
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting property inspections
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance
Experience
- Previous experience in property leasing or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Entrata or similar property management software
- Strong administrative and office skills, including data entry and file management
- Knowledge of fair housing regulations and laws pertaining to leasing contracts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants
- Effective conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or complaints
