We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Director to oversee the operations of our 168 unit residential community. As the Community Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of the community by providing exceptional customer service, managing resident relationships, and maintaining the property to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the community, including leasing, marketing, maintenance, and resident relations and team management.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain residents.
- Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee the leasing process from application to move-in, including screening applicants and preparing lease agreements.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company standards.
- Prepare reports on occupancy rates, leasing activity, and financial performance.
- Facilitate move outs and finalize security deposit dispositions in a timely manner in accordance with state law.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of fair housing regulations.
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, staff, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with property management software such as AppFolio is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
