Salary```Job Summary:```
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting and possess excellent analytical and data entry skills. This role will be responsible for managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
```Duties:```
- Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare and process accounts receivable invoices, ensuring timely billing to customers
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Perform data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
- Assist with tax compliance by providing necessary documentation and information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the general ledger accounting system
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any accounting-related issues
```Qualifications:```
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Desktop
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
