AP Specialist

Seeking a qualified Accounts Payable Specialist with particular experience understanding full cycle Accounts Payable, has construction industry experience, and Viewpoint Vista software experience. The qualified consultant will work in our client's office in the Addison, IL area and be part of the accounting team while helping with coverage of Payroll and Office Management. Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist. Onsite Location: Addison, IL. Working Hours: Mondays through Fridays 7.30am - 4.00pm. CST. Permanent Position. Responsibilities: Make sure all garnishments are entered in Viewpoint and mailed out weekly, in conjunction with Payroll. Prepare waivers for every current job. Obtain vendor waivers on subcontracts. Then submit to the client to ensure payment. Complete Worker's Comp monthly reporting and payment and make sure account balances are correct. AP Specialist is responsible for Full-Cycle Accounts Payable processing including examining, verifying, and reconciling a variety of transactions. Daily matching and posting of a large volume of vendor/subcontractor invoices with POs and work orders in Vista by Viewpoint Construction ERP software and Key-Style. Requirements: Degree preferred. Experience with Vista by Viewpoint. AP experience in construction or other similar industry. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion and to set priorities and manage competing demands while working independently. Demonstrate a reliable, responsive, and positive work ethic with the highest degree of integrity. Extremely detail-oriented with recognition of the importance of clear, concise, consistent documentation.
