AP Specialist Internship
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Laporte IN. AP Specialist Job Summary:
- Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
- Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
- Pulls vendor invoices for processing, verifies and matches PO’s & GRN’s with quantities & dollar amounts on invoices
- Research statements received from vendors & able to email & correspond with vendors
- Ability to upload, scan, copy and paste documents into the correct folders
- Ability to execute expense reports & create manual checks
- Other duties as assigned
AP Specialist Qualifications:
- Working towards Associates Degree in Accounting or related field required
- Professional certification preferred but not required
- Advanced computer skills
- Excellent math skills to make accurate calculations and estimates
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for the majority of the day
- Ability to walk the facility and warehouse as needed
