Job Description
- Conduct aircraft maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintenance customers.
- Collaborate with other departments, including flight operations, flight school, and aircraft management, to optimize aircraft maintenance processes and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records o f maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Coordinate with external maintenance vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
- Stay informed about advancements in aircraft technology, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements, and implement best practices as appropriate.
Requirements
- A&P certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance practices for various types of aircraft.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, including FAA/EASA requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain A&P certification through continuing education and recurrent training.
- Be available for occasional on-call and after-hours maintenance needs.
- Pass a background check and a pre-employment background check.
- Comply with company and FAA alcohol and drug policies.
- Maintain a valid drivers license.
