•Location:Highland Park Hospital
•Full Time/Part Time:Full-time
•Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm with rotation to cover weekend and on call shifts.
•Required Travel: To other sites as needed
What you will need:
•License: N/A
•Education: High School Graduate or Associate's Degree
•Certification: N/A
•Experience: High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate's Degree if no clinical experience.
•Skills: Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
What you will do:
•Under direction of supervisor, assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures
•Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover.
•Auditing, stocking and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures and documentation
•Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting
•Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System
