Job description

What You Will Achieve
This role is an Andover Business Operations (ABO) Leadership Team role, reporting to the Director. As Manager, the incumbent will have direct responsibility for the Site Business Support team and will provide support to the overall ABO team. The role will oversee business processes for the department and will ensure appropriate support across the site.
The incumbent’s organizational and collaborative skills, along with attention to detail will ensure financial, strategic, resource, space planning, and capacity planning are maintained and aligned across the ABO organization.
As a manager, the incumbent will provide leadership to the Business Support team ensuring alignment and prioritization of work as well as development and coaching talent.
How You Will Achieve It
  • Participates as a fully active member of the ABO leadership team, assisting with department issues as needed.
  • Day to date operational support to the ABO Director
  • Serve on cross functional teams to represent ABO and facilitate communications and activities/projects between site departments and/or Network.
  • Accountable for Business Support Team Colleagues ensuring prioritization of work and support of escalations.
  • Ensures Business Support Team has programs and processes established to enable site activities, visits, etc.
  • Responsible for culture development and talent planning that includes Pfizer values and behaviors, employee experience, our way of working, coaching, mentoring, and colleague development.
  • Manage ABO Budget and Headcount oversight and develop/deploy ABO capacity models/tools, and cost improvement projects. ·
  • Develop and evolve an ABO strategic roadmap that aligns with Site mission and vision.
Qualifications
Must Have
  • Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience OR an associates degree with 8 years of experience OR a bachelors with at least 5 years of experience OR Masters Degree with more than 3 years of experience, OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, experience in managing projects teams, programs, or workstreams of varying levels of complexity
  • Administrative, managerial skills, technical report writing, computer, and presentation skills.
  • Good communications and ability to interact across functional and divisional boundaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to seize accountability, to hold people responsible, and to act decisively
  • Skills to translate and present visualization of data into a format that can trigger action and business decisions·
  • Basic understanding of finance
  • Ability to effectively coach and mentor colleagues
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Schedule is 1st shift from Monday - Friday. Work schedule may occasionally require off shift support. Some travel for the position may be required.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,900.00 to $166,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
