This Intern position will work closely with Plant Management and Finance to develop analytics insights and reporting efforts for operations, to help improve business efficiencies.
The incumbent will assist with ongoing delivery of reporting and insights, problem-solving analysis, collecting relevant data, interpreting, and writing reports, as well as presenting data results output in a manufacturing environment.
Under relatively close supervision, intern will perform a variety of structured and unstructured tasks and assignments that provide both practical experience and broad exposure to the typical tasks and activities in their occupation/discipline.

Required:
- Currently enrolled in a BS/BA Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics or similar 4-year program.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Business Objects, SQL, SAS and/or mainframe systems & MS Office.
- Very strong Excel skills, specially working with pivot tables, statistical and financial analysis.
- Self-Driven & the ability to work individually & as part of a team to solve problems, using appropriate methods and channels in a timely manner
- Proven leadership skills in student organizations, student projects, etc.
Preferred:
- Cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.4
- Experience with Power Dashboards and Data Workflows
- Ability to take on diverse ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests with varying complexity and scope
- Exposure or interest in a Book Manufacturing work environment
Candidate must be located within reasonable commuting distance to Shelbyville, TN.
Typical/expected % of travel:
Occasional travel may be expected between Clarksville and Shelbyville, TN Plants
