Our Service Department is looking for analytical Field Service Engineers to install and support our highly advanced chemical analysis equipment in the East North Central and South Atlantic regions of the US and Canada. In addition, GERSTEL will provide extensive product training to support your success in the position.

The ideal candidate will enjoy traveling, have an analytic chemistry background, and be energized by engaging with a varied customer base. They will also enjoy learning new analysis techniques and solving complex technical problems.
Important qualities include:
- Gas & Liquid Chromatography or Mass Spectrometry experience required
- Ability to perform on-site installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and qualification of GC/MS, LC/MS systems
- MUST have familiarity with Analytical Chemistry
- Capacity to analyze, review, and inspect findings to determine the source of the problem and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective action.
- Mechanical aptitude is required with a proactive approach
- Passionate about helping our customers with the ability to listen and interpret their concerns
- Resourcefulness – able to adapt to any situation
- Customer support experience preferred
- Travel required: up to 80%, including some overnight.

Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Field Service Engineer is preferred, mainly working with analytical instrumentation
Location: The ideal location for this remote position would be in the NC, SC, GA, FL, AL & MS
