SalaryNew Orleans analytical laboratory seeks candidates for Analytical Chemist position. Laboratory provides chemical analysis of various agricultural commodities utilized for the food and feed industries, and is well-established, having served the industry for nearly 60 years. Position to be filled is in the laboratory's fats and oils department.
Candidates should be familiar with traditional quantitative analysis techniques, such as titrations and gravimetric analyses. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience with AOCS, AOAC, and ISO methods of analysis for fats and oils. Applicants should have a B.S. degree in chemistry or related field. Position is full-time, and is to be filled immediately.
