Responsibilities:
• Execute test strategy and functional test plans for Premiere Policy system.
• Analyze requirement specifications to identify testable conditions
• Participate in all functional testing activities including functional, integration and user acceptance testing
• Responsible for the delivery and maintenance of test cases, test scripts and test results
• Work with Business, Business Analysts, and QA analysts to analyze the requirements and design specifications to identify testable conditions and acceptable criteria
• Work with the project team to create data conditions to test positive and negative scenarios to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow
• Analyze testing results and support test processes for corrective actions when appropriate
• Accountable for ensuring that the project releases meet the specified end user requirements
• Participate in project review meetings to provide overall status of progress, issues and risks
• Prioritize, coordinate and manage assigned daily activities on a project
• Work closely with Project Manager, Test Lead and Delivery partners to ensure that the expected deliverables are completed on time, within cost and with quality
• Partner with IT QA Manager to develop and drive consistency in Test Plans, Status Reporting, Test Readiness Reviews and Post-Implementation Reviews as appropriate
• Log test defects and ensure that the defect repository is kept up-to-date with the required details
Qualifications:
• 5+ years hands-on experience as a Test Analyst
• Experience with P&C insurance is preferred
• Experience testing policy administration systems is preferred
• Experience with automated testing and/or script development is preferred
• Experience testing the Accenture Duck Creek policy administration is preferred
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC including functional & non-functional test phases
• Good knowledge of current test tools in the marketplace
• Highly analytical and structured thinking
