Analyst, Production Finance Systems
We are seeking an Analyst for our Production Finance System team, who combines a passion for management information systems (MIS) and the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. This role involves acting as a liaison across various departments, including TV Production Accounting, Production, Production IT Services, and external data system vendors. You will work closely with internal teams, playing a vital role in the integration and management of Finance Systems.
Among other tasks, the Analyst will play a pivotal role in onboarding/offboarding TV Production Accounting/Finance personnel, overseeing account setup, managing vendor products, and functioning as a line of business product owner. The successful candidate should possess exceptional organization skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Flexibility is also key, as you will be the product owner on multiple systems simultaneously.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for onboarding and offboarding TV Production Accounting/Finance personnel.
  • Oversee account setups and manage relationships with various vendors for product management.
  • Act as the product owner for business-specific systems, ensuring their effective utilization and strategic alignment.
  • Coordinate user access across multiple systems, collaborating closely with the production team and maintaining documentation for audit purposes.
  • Monitor and manage access rights of production accounting users in different internal and external systems.
  • Facilitate the implementation of workflow tools to enhance departmental efficiency and process optimization.
  • Utilize data analytics for decision-making, strategic planning, and supporting system and personnel initiatives.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with SOX standards and effective application of their services.
  • Handle production setup requests with vendors, ensuring accurate accounting and finance configurations.
  • Manage the ordering and distribution of check stock for various productions.
  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses to meet dynamic department needs.
  • Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as required.

Technical Skills:
  • Aptitude for new concepts and effective problem-solving.
  • Strong flexibility and adaptability, with experience managing multiple systems concurrently.
  • Profound knowledge of financial systems, IT and Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Robust project management skills and capability to work with significant autonomy.
  • Expertise in and familiarity with Global Vista, Smart Accounting, AirTable, Salesforce and SAP/S4 Hana; Scenechronize is advantageous.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Education: BA/BS degree with emphasis in with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting or Computer Science preferred.
  • Preferably 1 to 2+ years of film and/or television industry, IT, finance or accounting experience.

  • Must be willing to work in Culver City, CA

The anticipated base salary for this position is $59,600 - $86,900. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
