This role is open to be based from: Chicago, IL; New York, NY

Edelman is seeking an Analyst who will be responsible for analytics and measurement for multiple clients across all marketing channels, with a prominent focus on social media (paid, organic, and earned). 
 
This position will have a focus in overseeing day-to-day data management of key Edelman clients, which will include but is not limited to campaign measurement, benchmarking and forecasting, and ongoing monitoring with opportunities to lean into more qualitative workstreams such as audience insights.  
 
With the support of a manager, the analyst will contribute to learning agendas and measurement frameworks, aiming to provide meaningful insights and recommendations that inform communications and media strategy, as well as tactical optimizations and decisions. 
Responsibilities:
    • Independently gather, aggregate, and analyze social media and marketing data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations for agency clients
    • Ensure data accuracy through quality assurance and data cleaning
    • Translate third-party audience data into behavioral insights to inform media planning and creative strategy
    • Manipulate, analyze, and interpret large datasets from multiple sources, including native media platforms, influencer data and third-party data sources
    • Accurately evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of campaign performance
    • Inform campaign/activation goals and develop KPIs, benchmarks, and measurement frameworks as part of broader planning
    • Disseminate and present reporting deliverables internally
    • Use social listening tools to turn real-time monitoring data into thoughtful insights/learnings with actionable recommendations
    • Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail, and adherence to data best practices
    • Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Digital Strategy, Creative, Planning teams to inform measurement strategy, data management and guide decision-making
    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal account teams
    • Support integrated reporting across owned, earned, influencer, and paid media
Basic Qualifications:
    • Possess a bachelor or graduate degree in communication, advertising, marketing, business, statistics, mathematics, or similar discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution
    • Have 1+ years of relevant professional experience working in performance marketing, digital media and advertising, marketing/consumer research
    • Demonstrated ability to independently work with and manipulate large data sets across multiple data sources, natively and/or third-party data platforms
    • Knowledge of cross-channel performance analytics
    • Strong knowledge of the social media landscape, including emerging platforms and best practices
    • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable insights and recommendations with support
    • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Can learn new tools and systems quickly and with ease
Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with data visualization through Tableau or Google Data Studio
    • Familiarity with transferring third-party audience data in actionable insights 
$48,000 - $67,000 a year
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
