This role is on site, and reports to the Plant Leader of the Newton Manufacturing Operation. As an Operations/Production Analyst you will support all facets of the day to day operations of the Newton facility. You will have exposure and responsibilities related to Material Planning, Procurement, Transportation, Payroll, Continuous Improvement, and day to day transactional duties.
Your time will be split between the office and the production floor. In this role you will work with other functional areas of the corporation such as Engineering, Human Resources, Procurement, Material Planning, Transportation, Safety and Quality. This role will work closely with the plant and engineering leads as well as the assembly operations team to maintain day-to-day manufacturing of best in class quality products. Your responsibilities will include * Material Planning and Inventory Management* Communicating with external and internal vendors regarding material requirements, delays and expedites* Maintaining payroll records for the site* Transportation arrangements for outbound shipments* Operations and leadership support for production activities* Development and execution of reporting of key performance indicators and metrics* Procurement of all indirect materials* Leading and executing continuous Improvement activities utilizing World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology Minimum requirements * Bachelor's Degree* 1+ years of experience in a production, warehouse or a manufacturing environmentPreferred skills and experiences * Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, supply chain, or business administration* Proficient in Excel and, or Google Sheets and utilization of a computer* SAP experience (inventory management modules)* Demonstrated ability adapt and utilize multiple different software applications* Inventory management/procurement experience* WCM (World Class Manufacturing) exposure* Understanding of statistical data analysis as well as project management and scheduling* Effective communicator* Interpersonal skills and resolve conflict skills* Motivated, with excellent organizational skills and leadership behaviors RSRWHConnect with us and learn more about Whirlpool CorporationSee what it's like to work at Whirlpool by visiting Whirlpool Careers.
