Job description

Darigold is looking for an Operations Performance Analyst to maintain accurate and timely production data maintenance & reporting. The Operations Performance Analyst must possess the desire and ability to manage a variety of responsibilities such as: data entry, KPI development and reporting. This role will report to the Director - Operational Analytics and Performance.
Key elements of this role are understanding the cost structure of manufacturing, relating to both milk components as well as plant operations, and using this knowledge to support the production teams. This position will work cross-functionally with Plant Operations and Corporate Finance (Cost Accounting, Plant Controllers) to ensure the accurate recording of production and shipments of finished products including managing inventory usage and warehouse movements. Supporting the development of plant budgets and working with the continuous improvement team to support transformation efforts. This role will be a central resource for the production specialist, located across the network. The Sr Operations Analyst will be a key role in the roll out of the latest ERP upgrade acting as the subject matter expert for Manufacturing. Other duties to be performed as assigned.
What You Will Do

  • Maintain production reporting and reconciliation-track production activity in Enterprise systems, compile data and report out on results for executive level review.
  • Close production batches for bulk and finished good items. Check for pending, WIP, completed batches. Audit ingredient and packaging usage and work with the plant finance team to submit bill of material updates. Analyze potential variances associated with changes.
  • Participate in plant budget process. Evaluate variances between run rate and forecast and document adjustments to be made.
  • Work with plant operations teams to improve processes and optimize existing procures. Support CI efforts in waste elimination.
  • Serves as SME for all Production Specialist, resolving complex issues, questions and requests.
  • Supports manufacturing ERP changes, create training plans to be rolled out to the end users.
  • Maintain and update network wide scorecard related to performance metrics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring:
  • Previous experience compiling reports, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or supply chain preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in the food processing industry, preferably dairy, working in a plant operations or finance role.

Nice to Have's
  • Advanced skills with Excel, Word, and Outlook. Including pivot tables and charting
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience working with enterprise systems (Oracle a plus) and reporting tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.Conveys information clearly and effectively through both formal and informal documents.
  • Emphasis on details, accuracy and precision of transactions required.
  • Excellent ability to organize information, manages tasks and projects, and use available tools to effectively contribute to the organization.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work on projects with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work occasional weekend-day/holidays to meet deadlines.

  • Compensation range: $68,637.00-$102,956.00 (individual wage based on previous experience, knowledge, and skills)
