Position Summary
The Analyst, Environment, Health, and Safety position will support GLOVIS' North, South, and Central America ("AHQ") entities environment, health, safety, asset protection, and physical security matters with direction from AHQ National Manager of EHS, Glovis EHS Managers, and other support staff. Additional responsibilities include regular updates and maintenance of company-wide EHS programs and systems as they are created.
Compensation
$44,000-$49,000/Annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Responsibilities
- Provide adminstrative protocal for Glovis EHS Division on a corporate level:
- Perform tasks to assure AHQ entities know and adhere to company, governmental and industry leading EHS practices under the direction of the AHQ~EHS National Manager
- Obtain and share the latest regulations and best practices from governmental and industry sources related to these areas directed by the AHQ~EHS National Manager
- Assist AHQ entities develop and maintain EHS related policies and procedures
- Perform regular inspections of AHQ entities to assure compliance with regulations and policies. Report results to Glovis EHS site managers and AHQ~EHS National Manager
- Work with GLOVIS Korea Head Quarters ("KHQ") and AHQ entities to assure everyone is working with the same reporting standards
- Collect and genereate reports to EHS related data from AHQ entities and report to/or on behalf of the AHQ~EHS National Manager
- Assist in incident / accident investigations and assist in developing corrective & preventive action plans with Glovis EHS Managers where needed
- Create posters, banners, videos and other communication materials to promote EHS matters
- Keep Glovis EHS Managers and support team informed of proposed or actual changes in EHS regulations for each entity
- Attend AHQ entities EHS meetings with the intent of listening, and learning
- Obtain formal training and certifications as appropriate to further knowledge within EHS practices and regulations
- Keep AHQ~EHS National Manager informed of potential or actual risks associated with EHS matters
- Support AHQ ~EHS National Manager with maintaining appointments, travel, meetings, and conference schedules
- Other duties as assigned that relate to EHS
- Special projects
- Assist in EHS matters during the start of operations of new facilities
