Overall Job Summary
The Analyst, Customer Insights will be responsible for the successful execution of quantitative and qualitative research studies. Responsibilities will include questionnaire design, project management, analysis, and reporting/presentation of findings. The role will manger multiple research projects and help translate data into actionable insights. The Analyst must have the ability to think strategically and work with multiple internal stakeholders and outside partners to support the development, execution and socialization of research studies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Develop and design both quantitative and qualitative research studies (surveys and discussion guides)
- Oversee end-to-end execution of research studies
- Manage external agencies for the execution of research projects
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to develop relevant, actionable research studies
- Synthesize data into compelling presentations & reports that effectively communicate key insights
- Identify opportunities to combine data sources to uncover new insights
- Socialize research findings across the organization
- Consult with internal stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for research initiatives
- Incorporate external research / data to enrich research findings where applicable
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in customer research, consumer insights or market research. Retail/CPG experience a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Statistics, Marketing or related field. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Experience in survey design and programming
- Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research techniques
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving
- Understanding of statistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically developing PowerPoint presentations
- Experience in presenting to all levels of an organization
- Experience in statistical analytics, survey analytics and data visualization
- Proficiency in SQL and Tableau preferred
