Amxl Package Delivery Driver - Aurora, Co

Speedbox LLC is hiring immediately for Non-CDL Delivery Drivers in Aurora, CO. This is a full-time AMXL Delivery Driver position that will deliver oversized Amazon packages throughout the Denver metro area and Northern Colorado. Earn starting pay of $22.00/hour, plus up to $2.00/hour in differential bonuses:

• $1.00/hour weekend bonus for time worked on Saturdays and Sundays
• $1.00/hour box truck differential when operating 16' - 26' box trucks

This is a great position for anyone with prior experience as an Amazon Delivery Driver, mover, or who has operated 16' - 26' box trucks with lift gates. This role is located at our delivery sortation terminal near I-70 and Tower Road at 22300 E 26th Ave, Aurora, CO 80019.

The ideal candidate for this logistics career is a team-oriented leader that is obsessed about safety and customer service. The Delivery Truck Driver position is a physically demanding, outdoors position which requires being able to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds or moving packages weighing up to 300 pounds with the assistance of a Driver Helper and delivery equipment (such as dolly carts and load straps). A typical delivery route will deliver to 30 - 80 stops per day. Some deliveries may require entering customer homes together with a Driver Helper to position bulky items in the location of the customer's choice, along with removing packaging if requested by the customer. All team members must be able to continuously stand/walk, climb, bend, lift, and push/pull heavy objects for the entire duration of an 8 - 10 hour shift.

COMPETITIVE PAY AND INDUSTRY LEADING BENEFITS:

• Hourly Pay: Starting pay of $22.00/hour plus a $1.00/hour weekend differential for time worked on Saturdays and Sundays. Drivers can also earn an additional $1.00/hour differential when operating 16' - 26' box trucks. Speedbox LLC conducts performance reviews twice annually in March and October where team members are eligible to earn pay increases based on performance. Our top Non-CDL Delivery Truck Drivers can earn up to $26.00/hour ($24/hour + $1.00/hour box truck differential + $1.00/hour weekend bonus), with additional pay increases available to drivers promoted to Lead Driver / Trainer roles.
• 2 Weeks Paid Time Off: Employees begin accruing PTO on their first day and can earn approximately 2 weeks of PTO each calendar year. PTO may be used for any personal time and vacations, along with for holiday pay and paid sick leave purposes.
• Weekly Pay: We pay every Friday via direct deposit.
• 3 Day Weekends: Our full-time team members work 4 days a week. All team members must be able to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as part of their regular schedule. Our current schedule options include Sun-Wed, Wed-Sat, Thu-Sun, and Sat-Tue.

WHEN DOES THIS ROLE WORK?

This job will start at about 10:00 AM every day. Each delivery route will typically take 8 - 10 hours to complete, with each day generally finishing before 8:30 PM. A typical full-time team members will work 4 days a week, 32 - 40 hours a week, including a minimum of one weekend day.

WHERE IS THIS POSITION LOCATED?

This position is based at Amazon's HDE2 delivery terminal located at 22300 E 26th Ave, Aurora, CO 80019. We are just a few minutes away from Denver, Brighton, Thornton, and Parker.

• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle including 16' - 26' box trucks with lift gates.
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service when entering customer homes and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; maneuver packages weighing up to 70 lbs., using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE?

• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Hold a Colorado driver's license. An out-of-state license may be acceptable depending on the local regulations of that state; however, out-of-state licenses may delay pre-employment processes.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (which does include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a Commercial Driver Medical Certification
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-3 WEEKS to COMPLETE before you can begin training due to time required to complete background check, motor vehicle record check, pre-employment drug test, and DOT physical process.
