Amentum is supporting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) in providing specialized training, advisory and mentoring services to host nations under the Criminal Division's International Criminal Investigative Training and Assistance Program (ICITAP). https://www.justice.gov/criminal-icitap.
ICITAP is a cornerstone of America's global strategy for combating transnational crime, terrorism, countering trafficking in persons, establishing rule of law and enhancing human rights in developing countries. Amentum is the contract service provider to the DOJ ICITAP and Overseas Prosecutorial Development, Assistance and Training (OPDAT) programs.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Amentum is currently seeking qualified candidates to serve as Program Administrative Officer in Washington, DC. This position will be responsible for providing support to the ICITAP Middle East/Africa Deputy Assistant Director.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide direct support to regional operations team with projects and programs, especially with project coordination, to include assisting with trainings, conferences and study tours, coordination of travel, procurements of materials and services, and coordinating logistical support.
  • Tracking financial and programmatic information, and developing segments of program budgets
  • Prepares and provides high-quality reports to program team on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Conducts research and prepare reports and written materials.
  • Assist with preparation of briefings.
  • Facilitate a culture of continuous process improvement among team, providing resources and collaborating to implement processes that are streamlined and compliant.
  • Accountable for day-to-day programmatic and administrative tasks

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of related work experience supporting international law enforcement trainings, including direct engagement with USG partner and beneficiary agencies.
  • Strong customer service skills are required and the ability to work closely with program team and senior level personnel.
  • Ability to understand task order funding and execution.
  • Organized, meticulous, analytical.
  • Strong candidates will have demonstrated experience working in a culturally diverse workforce.
  • Experience with short and long-term project execution
  • Must be able to work effectively under stress and pressure.
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and prioritize tasks based on considerations of safety and mission importance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of conflict resolution, ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • One or more years' experience in international law enforcement development
  • Arabic/French working proficiency
  • Overseas experience working with host nations.
