We are looking for a dependable and highly motivated, customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our team! Servers are the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. This individual will need to be quick on their feet and have an engaging attitude.

Must be able to work various days of the week and heavy weekends, including holidays.
Your role:
- Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead.
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
- Guide guests to breakfast buffet or ordering off the menu.
- Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests.
- Be the master of the menu, understanding the details to enhance the conversation.
- Work collaboratively with other Restaurant Servers and kitchen/bar staff.
- Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy.
- Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation.
No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to your success – being on time every morning for your scheduled shift, creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
- Prior full-service Restaurant Server experience is required; hotel or hospitality fine dining server experience preferred.
- Excellent command of English: verbal, reading and writing; can effectively communicate with guest with ability to describe menu.
- Must have exceptional customer service skills with appropriate behavior and appearance expected at a 5-Star hotel.
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers with high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy with a sense of urgency when needed.
- Basic mathematical and calculator skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods, up to entire shift; walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions.
- Able to extend arms; frequent bending and stooping and ability to carry and/or lift up to 25 lbs without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance.
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
