Shift:
2nd Shift -Monday -Wednesday (12:30pm-9pm), Thursday (11:30am-8pm)/ Friday (8am-4:30pm)
Pay:
$23.50 for Line Cook
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operation of large catering equipment such as a tilt skillet and Rational Combination Oven
Preparing specific food items and meal components for large groups of 800+ people daily
Following directions provided by the head chef.
Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary.
Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback.
Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required.
Requirements:
Past experience working with large batch cooking in commissary kitchen environments
Operating catering-type cooking equipment including a Tilt Skillet, Steam Tray, and Rational oven
Ability to work well in a team.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation.
Passion for delivering great food and service.
Multitasking and organizational ability.
Available to work shifts during weekends and holidays.
