Full Job Description:
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Collaborate and support with content creation used for NetworkUSF resources and other marketing efforts
- Monitor job approval queue and projects
- Monitor and support with resolving NetworkUSF technical issues.
- Provide support with virtual and in-person events as needed
- Monitor NetworkUSF interactions for potential stories to share with DevComms and OMC for wider USF marketing and promotion
- Maintain, update, pull reports, and monitor NetworkUSF and other social media accounts.
- Provide front-line support to USF Alumni with accessing alumni services and responding to inquiries, complaints and comments by phone and email in a timely manner.
- Use the university database (Affinaquest Salesforce) as a tool for outreach, updating alumni contact information, and pulling reports.
- Provide pre-event planning, on-site (if needed), and post-event support. Tasks include, but are not limited to; alumni outreach, organizing materials, answering inquiries, creating schedules, registration, collecting pictures/memorabilia, and data management.
- Assists the department staff with short and long-term projects as needed - tasks range from simply copying files to extensively researching our vast alumni community.
- Monitor alumni inbox and phone line as needed
- Ensure the office inventory of supplies and USF alumni promotional products are stocked and up to date.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Experience / interest in learning about marketing and communications. Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of online marketing channels.
- Preferred: Experience/interest in customer service.
- Preferred: Skillful writer, with excellent editing and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Drive. Experience with social media platforms including LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite preferred (Photoshop, Publisher).
- Assistants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Will need to communicate frequently in a clear and professional manner with USF alumni, administrators, and friends.
- Able to become quickly accustomed to university services such as Salesforce.
- Self-starter with the ability to complete tasks thoroughly and quickly, with capability for multitasking. Shows initiative in assisting with projects and office tasks.
