Aluminum Welder

Responsibilities:

• Fit and weld aluminum boat parts as part of a custom vessel

• Fit boat kit parts with geometry that has been refined for 25 years.

• Weld structural and seems using C/V MIG techniques.

• Fit and frame all boat fixtures, including Decks, Lockers, Wheelhouse, Pipework, etc.

• Weld all topside fixtures using C/V MIG and PULSED MIG techniques.

Qualifications:- Basic contruction skills

• Ability to troubleshoot
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field is a plus
• Knowledge of welding techniques and safety protocols is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

You should be proficient in:

• Blueprint Reading
• Welding Setups for Production

• MIG Welder

Salary info:

$28 - $40 / hr
