Job Description

  • Monitoring alarms, video surveillance, radio communications, and emergency operations communication. Informing security supervisor(s) on duty and dispatching security personnel to provide coverage at the scene.
  • Perform SOC duties IAW established SOP. These duties will require following notification trees, updating daily activity reports, and completing incident reports as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities for SOC personnel may also include, but are not limited to; serving as the central security and safety command and control for the facility; providing notification of incidents to emergency first responder; briefing senior facility/client leadership along with their assigned staff; monitoring life safety systems and building automation systems; monitoring and operating security systems, access control, video surveillance and the mass notification system.
  • SOC personnel duties also include incident report writing, key management, radio communication, emergency operations communication and dispatching personnel to provide security

Qualifications:

  • Three years or more of specialized experience with Alarm Monitoring systems preferably within the DOD realm. (Required)
  • DOD Secret Clearance (Required)
  • Experience in writing incident reports (Preferred)
  • Experience using LENEL, electronic security system (Required)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Required)
  • Experience using facility annunciators or public address systems (Preferred)
  • Experience in radio dispatch or 911 operators (Preferred)
  • At least 21 years of age (Required)
  • Must be US Citizen (Required)
  • Able to pass a physical exam/drug screen and a federal background investigation (Required)
  • Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc. (Required)

Schedule

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day and Night Shift
  • Three, 12 hour days and one six hour day
  • Will work one weekend day/shift (Saturday or Sunday)
  • May be required to work additional days to cover post

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
