Elevate Your Career: Reliability, Maintainability, and Testability (RM&T) Specialist
Are you ready to take on a role where your skills in reliability prediction and failure analysis will make a significant impact? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a RM&T Specialist, providing crucial support in the engineering domain.
What You Will Be Doing:
Collaboration: Interface with system and element design engineers to identify shortfalls in system-level analysis/design and board-level predictions, fostering a collaborative environment.
Predictive Analysis: Perform Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) predictions and allocations for equipment and systems using cutting-edge RMA software-based tools.
Specification Development: Prepare comprehensive R&M specifications from top-level requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Data Interpretation: Interpret statistical data derived from failure reporting programs and reliability demonstrations, contributing to informed decision-making.
Problem Solving: Identify problems, conduct failure analysis, and evaluate proposed corrective actions, actively engaging in Failure Report and Corrective Action Activities (FRACAS).
Design Involvement: Actively participate in the development of new designs/configurations, engaging with system design engineers to enhance overall system reliability.
Testing and Evaluation: Conduct R&M testing, perform statistical evaluation of test data, and execute Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and Fault Tree Analyses.
Communication: Prepare formal reports and presentations, articulating analysis results and assessments to customers and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Complete predictions and engage in discussions with design engineers to identify and implement areas of improvement in R&M.
Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years prior experience as an aircraft mechanic or crew chief conducting maintenance on military aircraft.
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
Independence: Able to work independently or collaboratively as a team member, showcasing adaptability and initiative.
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Desired Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree in industrial, electrical engineering; math; physics; or equivalent degree.
Experience: 7+ years prior experience as an aircraft mechanic or crew chief conducting maintenance on military aircraft. Prior coursework or relevant experience in RMA, R&M, FRACAS, and FMECA.
